学生とスタッフの全員が一つの部屋に集い、広々とした研究室で日々研究に取り組んでいます。晴れた日は窓から仙台市街が一望できます。
All students and staff gather in one room and work every day in a spacious laboratory. On a sunny day, you can see the Sendai city from the window.

開放感のある空間で自然なコミュニケーションを取りながら研究に集中できます。奥にはガラス張りの個室が3室あり、打ち合わせや個別作業にも最適です。
The open and airy space allows for natural communication while maintaining focus on research. At the back, there are three glass-walled private rooms, ideal for meetings or individual work.

充実した書籍と大型モニターを備えたミーティングスペースは、発表やディスカッションに最適です。
A meeting space equipped with a rich collection of books and large monitors — perfect for presentations and discussions.

研究室は自由席で、気分に合わせて好きな場所で作業ができます。ときにはこたつやテーブルに集まり、食事や会話を通じてリラックスした交流の場にもなります。
The lab has open seating, allowing everyone to work wherever they feel most comfortable. At times, people gather around the kotatsu or tables to share meals and conversations, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. 

研究室のメンバーによって運営されている売店があり、お菓子や飲料をすぐに購入できます。コーヒーメーカーなどの調理器具も使うことができます。
You can find some snacks and drinks in the small shop kept by lab members. You can freely use the coffee maker and other appliances.

研究環境 / Environment for Research

研究で必要となる書籍を定期的に購入しており、研究室で誰でも自由に読むことができます。
We regularly procure books necessary for research, and they are free for anyone to read.

全ての学生に、ノートパソコンを貸与しています。希望者にはタブレット端末なども貸与しています。バックアップ用ディスクやUSB-hubも使用できます。
All students are provided with a laptop. Tablets and other devices are also available upon request. Backup disks and USB hubs are available for use as well.

研究室では、GPUサーバを含む複数の高性能計算機が稼働しており、日々の研究活動を支えています。
Several high performance computers with GPUs support members’ everyday research activities.

• Sakaguchi Lab
  • GPU サーバ: NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada 4枚搭載機 を含む計9台
  • CPU サーバ: 24コアCPU,768GBメモリ搭載機を含む計20台

他、ファイルサーバなど

上記に加えて、ABCI などのクラウド高性能計算機を利用することが出来ます。
Besides the above GPU servers, students can use cloud high performance computers such as ABCI for their research.
