The Center for Language AI Research has been founded / 言語AI研究センターが新設されました
The Tohoku University Center for Language AI Research, headed by Professor Jun Suzuki, is pleased to announce its establishment, effective from October 1, 2023. This center is dedicated to research and development on a wide range of AI technologies related to language. Additionally, the center extends a warm welcome to Professor Kentaro Inui, who holds a cross-appointment with the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), and will continue his research activities as a member of the Tohoku NLP Group. We look forward to continued collaboration!
2023年10月1日付で、東北大学言語AI研究センターが新設されました。言語AI研究センターでは、文章生成AIを含む、言葉に関係する広範なAI技術全般の研究開発をおこないます。センター長は鈴木潤教授が務めます。乾健太郎教授（クロスアポイントメント、Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) 教授）も本センターに所属し、引き続き Tohoku NLP グループの一員として研究活動をおこないます。新体制となった Tohoku NLP グループを今後ともよろしくお願いいたします！
