今年の東北大学オープンキャンパス は、7月27日〜28日に対面・オンラインのハイブリッド形式で開催されました。
乾研究室は、以下のイベント・掲示に参加しました。

2022年7月1日から、坂口慶祐さんが乾・坂口・徳久研究室の准教授に着任しました。ようこそ！

Inui Lab, Suzuki Lab and Matsubayashi Lab organized a joint Year-end party. Besides the Lab members, students from StepQI, Creative Engineering and previous graduates also joined the party, and had a very lively conversation even with whom they met less often.

乾研究室、鈴木研究室、松林研究室の合同忘年会をオンラインで行いました。研究室メンバーに加え、StepQI、創造工学の学生さんやOBの皆さんも参加し、普段は話す機会の少ない相手とも話に花を咲かせました。

The following paper received the Denso IT Laboratory Award at the 27th Annual Meeting of Natural Language Processing (NLP2021), and was also given a prize of sake. Lab members held an online drinking party together with the delicious sake, which lighted up the atmosphere.

言語処理学会第27回年次大会(NLP2021)にて、下記の論文がデンソーアイティーラボラトリ賞を受賞しました。その副賞にいただいた日本酒をそれぞれ持ち帰り、乾研究室メンバーでオンライン飲み会を開催しました。美味しいお酒に会話の花も咲きました。

This year, the Inui-Suzuki Lab year-end party was held online. In addition to our lab members, students from StepQI and Creative Engineering also joined us, and we had a great time talking with people we don’t usually have a chance to talk to.

We held a Tohoku NLP Lab end-of-year party at the “Shikisai” restaurant on the Aobayama campus. Lab members and their family members, StepQI students, creative engineering students, next year’s new members, and other lab’s students all had a chance to converse with members they don’t usually talk with often. Let’s have another great year!

青葉山キャンパスの「レストラン四季彩」にて、乾・鈴木研究室の忘年会を行いました。研究室メンバーに加え、メンバーのご家族やStepQI、創造工学の学生さん、来年度からの新メンバーに他研究室の学生さんなども参加し、普段は話す機会の少ない相手とも話に花を咲かせました。また来年もよろしくお願いします。

Our 4th year bachelor student Takuma Kato won the Dars 12.12 challenge held on December 12. The challenge was to stop a stopwatch at exactly 12.12 seconds. Congratulations!

12月12日のダースの日に大学生協青葉山東キャンパス店で行われた『目指せ！12.12秒チャレンジ！～ストップウォッチを見ずに12.12秒を当てて、景品をGETしましょう！～』にて、加藤拓真 (学部4年) が見事12.12秒でストップウォッチを止め、ビックダースを獲得しました。おめでとうございます！

Our team placed 25th out of 37 at the annual Ekiden relay race, followed by an Oden party.

恒例の駅伝大会が開催され37チーム中25位という結果でした。駅伝後には、おでんパーティーも行いました。

Members of our laboratory recently enjoyed a nice stew and barbeque near the Hirose River. Family members and new laboratory members both joined, and the party was very festive!

広瀬川のせせらぎの下、芋煮とバーベキューを堪能しました。新メンバーや研究室メンバーのご家族も加わり、とても賑やかな会になりました。

Members of the Inui-Suzuki Lab went on a trip together! We enjoyed activities such as descending the Geibi Gorge, exploring the Yuugendo caves, and hiking up Kunimi Mountain in the Iwate prefecture. We also enjoyed a banquet and hot springs.

乾・鈴木研究室の研究室合宿が開催されました。猊鼻渓舟下り、幽玄洞探検、国見山登山などのアクティビティや温泉での宴会も楽しみました。

We had a barbecue in honor of new members and members about to leave us at Ushigoebashi. The weather was excellent, and we had a great time!

新メンバーの歓迎会及び5月末で研究室を離れるメンバーの送別会を兼ねて、新緑の牛越橋にて河原バーベキューを行いました。天気も快晴でとても良い会となりました。

The Communication Science Laboratory (Inui-Suzuki Lab)’s end-of-year party was held at the “Shikisai” restaurant. Conversation flourished between lab members, family members, StepQI and Creative Engineering students, new members planning to join next year, and others, even between those who usually don’t have much opportunity to chat. A few Lab members gave an instrumental performance which further improved the festive atmosphere. Thank you for a great year, and we are very much looking forward to the next one!
